Uplus offers private tutoring for all subjects throughout Finland. The instruction is suitable for learners of all ages and can be arranged at the student's home, in a library, or even online. The service has been very well received, as 9 out of 10 Uplus customers recommend them to others.
We began our partnership in June 2022 due to issues in Uplus's advertising efforts. "We reached out to Nostamo because our Google Ads advertising had stopped producing results with our previous marketing partner. Google Ads is a crucial marketing channel for our business, and we wanted to ensure that Google marketing was in good hands. We chose Nostamo because they specialize specifically in Google Ads advertising, whereas many other companies in the marketing industry do a little bit of everything: Facebook, Google, TikTok, and more," says Joel Wulff, the entrepreneur at Uplus.
We identified the reason for the poor results during the account audit. Based on the audit, we developed a plan to improve the account and rebuilt the campaigns. The changes were quickly noticeable at Uplus as well. "After the collaboration started, we saw results within two weeks. The number of leads on a monthly basis has increased by 50-100% compared to last year. A year ago, such lead numbers seemed impossible, but now records are almost breaking every month."
The improvement in results is also reflected in the analytics. Since the start of the collaboration, there has been a 101% increase in inquiries through Google advertising compared to the previous period. The cost-effectiveness of the advertising has also improved, as the cost per conversion is 37% lower (meaning we have to spend 37% less on advertising for each inquiry).
Wulff evaluates the success of our collaboration as follows: "We especially appreciate how continuous and active the development of Google advertising has been. Communication is easy, and in monthly meetings, they can tell us in detail how the advertising has evolved, what actions have been taken, and what actions they plan to try next. The collaboration has been ongoing for almost a year and will continue long into the future."
We have been working together for long enough now that we can also compare how we have been able to develop our own campaigns. In the latter half of the collaboration, there have been 44% more inquiries, and the cost per conversion has been 23% lower compared to the first half of the collaboration. So, in addition to improving results compared to Uplus's previous marketing partner, we have also been able to improve our own results. This, if anything, illustrates the benefits of determined development work.
