SafeAid.fi provides various organizations and businesses with products such as defibrillators, first aid kits, burn care products, and eye wash solutions to ensure their first aid readiness. While the company sells products directly through its online store, sales efforts also extend beyond e-commerce. As a result, the marketing strategy aims to generate not only online sales but also inquiries and other forms of contact.
Initial Situation
SafeAid had already been running Google Ads before collaborating with Nostamo, but according to Katri Tuutti, the company’s regional sales manager, they faced challenges in maintaining and improving their campaigns.
"We had been using Google Ads earlier, but no one was actively managing it. The same ads ran for too long without tracking which keywords performed best. We also struggled to keep up with Google's frequently changing 'requirements.'"
The company recognized that successful Google advertising requires constant monitoring and development. Tuutti recalls that Nostamo stood out positively already during the initial stages of finding a suitable advertising agency.
"Even the first phone call convinced us that Nostamo was worth further discussions."
Those conversations led to a partnership, and Nostamo's ad campaigns kicked off in October 2023.
Results
The results were evident soon after the collaboration began — so much so that the very next month became the company's best sales month in history.
After one year of collaboration, the online store's sales increased by 56% compared to the previous year. The results have continued to improve: when comparing the last six months (April 17–October 17, 2024) to the same period in the previous year (April 17–October 17, 2023), online sales have grown by 89%.
This trend is common among other Nostamo clients as well: with consistent and long-term development, results continue to improve, not just showing a temporary "spike."
In addition to increased online sales, the number of leads has also grown — contributing to offline sales growth as well.
"Our ads now perform better in search results, and direct purchases have increased. We've also received more inquiries through the contact form and email", says Tuutti.
